Are there any restrictions?
Alkantmooi is a perfect place for a quiet and romantic getaway so unfortunately we do not allow children under the age of 12.
Is there WiFi?
Yes! We have some of the best WiFi in the area due to our hilltop location.
Is Breakfast Included?
Breakfast is not included in the rates but you are welcome to schedule a breakfast when you check-in or ahead of time, additional charges do apply. Served from 8h45.
Breakfast is not available on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Power Supply - Solar energy and backup generator / gas
Yes! We have our own solar energy system and backup generator on site - so we will try our best to get you covered if there is a power outage.
Is there daily cleaning service?
Yes, the self-catering apartments are serviced daily except for Sundays & public holidays.

Smoking policy?
All units inside are are non-smoking. All units also have outdoor patios where you are welcome to smoke and ashtrays are provided.
How do I get to Alkantmooi?
Easily accessible by car just over 2 kilometers off of the N2 which is the main road in the Garden Route. You'll drive on 2km of dirt road to drive through Alkantmooi's Private Nature Reserve to arrive at the hotel. The dirt road is very well maintained and easily accessible by car.
Electricity & plugs?
South Africa uses 220volts & 3 pin plugs. Units 5, 6 & 7 have international plugs but remember that the voltage is still 220v so do not plug in any electronics not suited for the higher voltage.

We are located in the perfect location, 8km outside of Plettenberg Bay (towards Keurboom River)-central between Harkerville and the Crags. Nearest attractions:
