Location
Just over an hour's drive (98km) from the George Airport, Plettenberg Bay is situated on the south-east coast of the Western Cape province, 240km from Port Elizabeth and 515km from Cape Town. As part of the renowned Garden Route, it offers a convenient base for a host of diverse attractions and activities. This is a perfect place to stop over between Cape Town to Addo Elephant National Park which is a popular itinerary. Addo Elephant National Park is 262km from Alkantmooi.

From the Port Elizabeth Area
- On the N2 national road, pass the Thyme and Again farm stall on your right.
- After 1km, turn inland (right) at the 'Ferries' sign, just before crossing the Keurbooms
River bridge. - Pass the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve hut and follow the Alkantmooi signs up the
dirt road onto the hill. - After about 1.7km, turn left towards Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve.
- At the gate press the HOTEL button & you will be buzzed in.
- Make your way to Reception to check in.
Please note that this road is not accessible for tour buses.
From the Plettenberg Bay Area
- On the N2 national road, pass Plettenberg Bay and continue for approximately 6km.
- Just after the "Forever Resort" entrance, continue over the Keurbooms River bridge.
- Then turn inland (left) immediately after the bridge at the 'Ferries' sign.
- Pass the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve hut and follow the Alkantmooi signs up the dirt road onto the hill.
- After about 1.7km, turn left towards Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve.
- At the gate press the HOTEL button & you will be buzzed in.
- Make your way to Reception to check in.
